Crowdsourcing is a sourcing model in which individuals or organisations obtain goods or services from a large, relatively open group of participants.

Crowdsourcing is a sourcing model in which individuals or organisations obtain information, services or content from a large group of people, typically, but not necessarily via the internet. The word itself comes from the mixture of crowd and outsourcing.

I praktiken

Crowdsourcing relies on the opinion, experience of a crowd. It can target internal or external participants of a business or service. A good example is Waze where the users can enter their input directly to the service by adding traffic jams, police radar hotspots etc.
