Publish

When your chart is ready to be shared with a wider audience, click Publish & share to make it live. Publishing gives your chart a public, interactive link that anyone can open, and it stays connected to your work, so you can keep editing, republish, or take it offline whenever you like.

Published view

Once published, you’ll see a Live label and a confirmation that your chart is published. Click View live to open the public version in a new tab and see exactly what your audience will see.

Editing a published chart

You can keep editing a published chart and your edits stay private until you choose to make them live.

When you make changes to a published chart, the live version is not affected and you’ll see a notice You have unpublished changes. From there you can:

  • Republish to update the live version with your latest edits. The public link stays the same, so anything already shared or embedded updates automatically.
  • Undo to publisheddiscards your unpublished edits and replaces them with the currently live version. Use this if you want to abandon recent changes and start fresh from what’s already public. The live version itself is untouched, only your draft is affected.

Unpublish

To take your chart offline, click Unpublish. The link stops working until you republish.
